Meet the CSUF Team

Litzy Aguilar

A senior Communications major with a Journalism concentration and a minor in Spanish at Cal State Fullerton. Back home, I am an assistant multimedia editor for The Daily Titan and am part of the Latino Journalists of CSUF.

Connor Alicaya

Connor Alicaya is  a senior in the CSUF's College of Communications. He is serving as a student lead after excelling in the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics CSUF Study Abroad. He's from the Bay Area. He is an avid sports fan. He loves the Warriors. 

McKenna Bieger

A senior public relations major at Cal State Fullerton, earning a certificate in sports media. She is the game day host and post-match journalist for Orange County Soccer Club where she promotes the club in-stadium and online. She has experience covering local and professional hockey, and will continue to do so in Milan. 

Maya Bleszinski

A  third year student at Cal State Fullerton studying Theater. She grew up figure skating and over the years has watched the sport’s decline in popularity and coverage in mainstream media. She looks forward to covering figure skating in Milan on the biggest stage in the world. In addition to figure skating coverage, she is also the journalist for Titan Ice Hockey.

Brady Charette

Senior journalism major at Cal State Fullerton and staff writer at the Daily Titan. He is also a reporter for the Sporting Tribune, covering the Los Angeles Kings and Los Angeles Rams. Staff member at Titans Sports Network. 

Colin Costigan

A senior at Cal State Fullerton studying Communications with a concentration in Journalism. As someone who loves sports and is an aspiring play-by-play broadcaster, he’s already called numerous NCAA DI games on ESPN+ with Titans Sports Network and anchored for Titan TV. He writes for the Daily Titan and is now their Sports Desk Editor.

Ehvan Fennell

A senior at California State University, Fullerton. He is a community-based journalist with experience as a staff writer, feature/lifestyle editor, broadcast reporter, and anchor. His work is grounded in ethical storytelling, production management, and a focused curiosity that drives meaningful content. 

Jenny Guzman

A fourth-year journalism major at Cal State Fullerton, working to complete a sports certificate. She’s going down the broadcast avenue, already having experience reporting for live events for the college’s student-produced news program, OC News. In addition to having her written work published for the Daily Titan and TUSK magazine.

Kabeer Kansara

A senior journalism major at CSUF with a passion for visual storytelling through photography and graphic design. He is experienced in print material production,  art direction and writing as part of the Daily Titan and Tusk Magazine. As part of the Milano Cortina study abroad trip, he has been managing the website and content publication process. 

Sara Leon

A senior at CSUF, majoring in journalism. She has won over 10 awards for her writing, including a third place award from the California Newspaper Publishers Association for her feature on local Fullerton store Black Hole Records. She currently serves as the managing editor for the Daily Titan and is also in Milan covering the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. 

Jayden Lovelady

Third-year journalism and American studies double major at Cal State Fullerton currently serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Titan, CSUF’s student newspaper. She has a background in print journalism, featuring bylines in news, opinion and lifestyle, along with experience working in social media and vertical journalism. 

Isabella Lyons

Senior journalism student at Cal State Fullerton, entering her third season as a sports reporter and writer for Jp West Media in Southern Orange County covering high school, Juco, and D1 football games and stories. She also anchored, reported, and produced for OC News, interned with Titan Sports Network, and a host for Titans Sports.

Jonathan Mansour  is a senior journalism student at Cal State Fullerton. He is Lebanese and a big sports fan who aspires to become a play-by-play commentator. He is serving as a student lead after excelling in the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics CSUF Study Abroad. 

Sophia Marine

A fifth-year Journalism major and Human Communication Studies minor. I study Japanese and teach English on the side. I have been a professional esports commentator and analyst for 7 years and working on translating my experience to traditional sports and the newsroom. 

David Martinez

Third-year journalism major at Cal State Fullerton and serves as an Assistant Sports Editor at the Daily Titan. He is also a staff writer for The Sporting Tribune, where he covers the US Men’s National Team and LAFC.

Kyle McCaghren

I am a fifth-year Journalism major and Human Communication Studies minor. I study Japanese and teach English on the side. I have been a professional esports commentator and analyst for 7 years and working on translating my experience to traditional sports and the newsroom. 

Gizelle Medina

A third-year journalism student at Cal State Fullerton with a minor in international politics, pursuing the digital communications media certification. She’s served as opinion editor for the Daily Titan, where she is now heading copy editing as the desk editor. On the broadcast side of things, she is currently working under Titan TV as an executive producer for OC News. 

Fransisco Perez Cruz

Third-year communications journalism student with a strong interest in media production, photography, and videography. Passionate about visual storytelling and developing content that informs and engages audiences.

Emma Peterson

Justin Rosette

A fourth year student at Cal State Fullerton, studying journalism. On campus, he has worked with the Daily Titan, Titan TV, Titan Radio, and Titans Sports Network. Off campus, he has worked with the Sporting Tribune, a sports website; and has covered a variety of sports and events, including NBA G League games for the South Bay Lakers. 

Noah Scherson

Fourth-year Journalism student at CSUF. His love of sports started with the Olympics, staying up late to watch the 2016 Rio Games at his Grandmother's house. He now focuses on Football but wants to diversify his reach to different sports. He is serving as a student lead after excelling in the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics CSUF Study Abroad. 

Nicholas Wire

Fourth-year journalism student at Cal State Fullerton. He was the sports editor for the Daily Titan and now looks forward to covering Olympic hockey. After the tense Four Nations Faceoff last February, he eagerly awaits the hockey rivalry reignited between the United States and Canada. He aspires to be a sports beat writer.
