Meet our team of contributors

Marissa Lavezzari serves as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Cal State Fullerton, covering softball, men’s golf, and women’s volleyball. She has covered a variety of sports during her time as a student at Cal State Fullerton. She obtainied four years of reporting experience, with two years of newsroom experience. She is graduating Summer 2024.

Robbie Loya is a 23-year-old senior at Cal State Fullerton studying Communications with an emphasis in Journalism. While attending Cal State Fullerton, the senior has earned many opportunities throughout his academic career, such as working for Titans Sports Network as a play-by-play announcer, Fox Sports, the Ontario Reign, He is currently a play-by-play announcer for the Lake Elsinore Storm.

Noah Scherson is a journalism student at CSUF. He was born in France and regularly comes back to visit family, making this a sort of homecoming trip. He stayed up late at his grandmother's house to watch the 2016 Rio Olympic games, as Usain Bolt won the Gold in the 100m and Michael Phelps dominated swimming. This is where his love for sports started. 

Francisco Molina is a senior Communications major who is graduating in Summer 2024. He is currently a reporter for The Sporting Tribune and an official ambassador with Sports Spectrum.

Emily Wilson is a third-year journalism major with a passion for sports journalism. In her first semester at Cal State Fullerton, she served as an assistant sports editor for the Daily Titan. She worked her way up the ranks and was named Editor-in-Chief in May of 2024, a position she will hold through the fall semester. She is excited for the opportunity to report from Paris and looks forward to attending an event as iconic as the Olympics.  

Enrique Medina is a fifth-year student and will graduate from CSUF this summer, majoring in Communications with an emphasis in journalism. During his time at CSUF, Enrique has been involved with various productions at Titan TV and has also served as the executive producer for Gayle Jansen Brisbane's OC News production during the Spring 2024 semester and as executive producer for Al Dia, the school’s Spanish newscast, during the Spring 2023 semester. 

Allison Goyich is a junior communications major who serves as a Community Service Officer of Public Affairs for the CSUF Police Dept. From the Bay area, she take any opportunity to travel and immerse herself in different cultures.

Connor Alicaya is a 4th year student in the College of Communications at CSUF. He's from the bay area. He is an avid sports fan. He loves the Warriors. 

Jose Flores is graduating from CSUF this summer. He is currently working at KSEE CBS 47 television station in Fresno as a news producer. 

Isaac Veazey-Chavez is a third-year student at CSUF with a journalism focus. He strives to work in sports journalism.

Lina Naranjo is a senior at CSUF, majoring in communications. She strives to work within the entertainment industry and is covering the 2024 Paris Olympics for the CSUF study abroad program.

Megan Sweeney is a junior communications major at CSUF. The San Jose native is pursuing a career in sports broadcasting and is covering the 2024 Paris Olympics as part of the CSUF study abroad program.

Dustin Lam is a CTVA major at CSUF. He is serving as the documentarian for the CSUF Paris study abroad program.

Aime Arellano is a 4th year broadcast journalism major at CSUF. She aspires to be a sports reporter or entertainment reporter. She is creating content about the Olympics in Paris. 

Hope Pharris is a senior at Cal State Fullerton, majoring in communications. With an intense love for sports, she strives to work in sports media after graduation in the spring of 2025. She is excited for the experience she will receive being a part of the 2024 Paris Olympics CSUF study abroad program.  

Sergio Gonzalez is a third-year communications major at CSUF with an emphasis in journalism. He is also the sports editor at the Daily Titan student newspaper. 

He aspires to work in the industry one day and is looking forward to an incredible experience in Paris covering the Olympics.. 

Michael Cody Stephenson is a senior communications major with an emphasis in journalism at CSUF. He also works for the Titans Sports Network as a play-by-play announcer on ESPN+. He is excited to be covering the Olympics with the CSUF study abroad program.

Courtney Iseman is a communications major concentrating in entertainment and tourism with a minor in marketing. She aspires to work in the entertainment business, whether it be in music, sports, or film.

Grace Min

Jonathan Mansour is a third-year journalism student at Cal State Fullerton. He is Lebanese and a big sports fan who aspires to become a play-by-play commentator. He is very excited about the special opportunity to report on the Paris Olympic Games.

Miguel Castaneda is a senior Communications major graduating in the summer of 2024. He works for CSUF's Titans Sports Network creating content for social media and helping broadcast sporting events on campus. He was also apart of OC News during the Fall 2023 semester.

Dr. Gayle Jansen Brisbane is an associate professor at Cal State Fullerton. She was the lead instructor and organizer of CSUF's 2024 Paris Olympics Study Abroad program. She is the advisor for CSUF's sports media certificate. She spent 20 years working as a television sports reporter/anchor before entering academia. She earned her Ph.d. at the Univerisity of Colorado.  

Bob Young is a retired sports writer for the Arizona Republic. He currently teaches at Arizona State University but was hired as a visiting faculty for the CSUF 2024 Paris Olympics Study Abroad program..
